JOHNSTON HIGH FOOTBALL

Practice this week will be 7:45am on Tuesday July 31st and Thursday August 2nd. We will be adding a Wednesday August 1st practice for the offensive line 8am-9am, and backs and receivers 9am-10am. See EVERYONE there.

There will be NO practice this week.

HOWEVER, there is still Passing League at Toll Gate High School in Warwick on Thursday at 5:30pm. We would like all players attending to meet at Johnston High School at 4:30pm so we can drive up together. If you do not have a ride, please reach out to another player who is going or a captain. It is strongly recommended any player who would like to play quarterback, running back, Wide Receiver, linebacker, cornerback, or safety attends. This is YOUR time to impress the coaches and earn a spot.

If you are driving to Passing League, put DrumRock Early Childhood Center into the navigation, not Toll Gate High School. After passing the elementary school on your left, continue up the road and you will see the parking lot and football field.

Attention All Parents and Guardians: After practice today your football players received forms that need to be filled out as soon as possible. There is the Assumption of Risk form, Parent Permission form, Physical Examination form, and Concussion form. Also, tonight, Thursday July 19th, there is a passing league game at Toll Gate High School at 5:30. We are asking for the players to meet at Johnston High School at 4:30 and drive up together. Any player that plays Quarterback, Running Back, Wide Receiver, Linebacker, Cornerback, or Safety should attend.

Finally, any player that has not brought in their 10 dollars for insurance through the Johnston Rec Department for use of the field, needs to do so immediately.

Toll Gate just called and due to a scheduling issue, we have a bye this week, meaning there is no passing league this week. We will start next week on Thursday July 19th. Enjoy your 4 days off and see you Tuesday at 7:45am.
