Great job to all of the players that made Honor Roll. There is no doubt that it is tough to maintain good grades while also being a student athlete. That is an accomplishment you should all be proud of. The link is below if you want to check out how your teammates did.

Also, best of luck to all players who are playing winter sports. I hope the weight room is a priority this offseason for you all. A top high school coach from California posted last week “If the weight room isn’t a priority in the offseason, neither is winning in the fall. Look at the squat racks, if they are empty in the offseason, the trophy case will be empty at the end of the season.” Just something to think about…

Practice is cancelled today. There will be practice tomorrow, Thursday November 15th, after school. See EVERYONE tomorrow.

If you plan on playing college football, make sure you are being proactive in what needs to be done. NCAA has a guideline that players must go through to be eligible to play.

Friday nights game against Woonsocket is our Teacher Appreciation Night and Senior Night. Before the game the seniors will walk out the teacher they have asked. At half time, the seniors walk out with their parents and/or guardian. Please email Coach Matt whoever you are walking out with at halftime ASAP.

Teacher Appreciation letters were due yesterday, Sunday September 30th. Sadly, out of the 11 seniors, only 3, Lucas, James, and Manny, sent a letter to Coach Matt. Those 3 teacher names have been forwarded to Coach Sue so the cheerleaders know who not to ask, every other teacher they can ask. You were all given a deadline that you chose to ignore so please do not complain to a coach or teacher that a cheerleader or another senior asked the teacher you were planning to ask.
