Parents and Players,
Practice on Monday and Tuesday is as follows:
MONDAY – Froshmore 2:30-4:30, Varsity 5-7:30
TUESDAY – Froshmore 2:30-430, Varsity 5-7:30

Sorry for any inconvenience, we are trying to work around multiple unexpected scheduling conflicts like soccer practices and orientations.

Tonight’s parent meeting will be postponed to a later date. Sorry for any inconvenience. Practice for the players is still on for 5:30-8. Players, practice tonight is just walk throughs with helmets so you can if you are sore and banged up you should still attend. Do not forget you need 10 practices to scrimmage on Saturday and some players will not be eligible if they miss.

Hello Panther players and parents, a reminder if you have forgotten or if your child has not notified you. A few changes this week to our schedule;

• We will meet Monday 730 to 11 with full equipment, and then a review period Monday evening 6- 8. please arrive at 530 (helmets only).
  Tuesday full gear 730 to 11.
  *Wednesday joint practice with Cranston East at Cranston Stadium at 430,, bus leaves Jhs at 315 please arrive 245pm.
  *Thursday 730 to 11 helmets only.. Return thursday evening 6 to 730pm helmets only. *(ATTENTION PARENTS) We would like to have a parents meeting in the gymnasium at the end of practice.
  Meeting should last no longer than 20 minutes. We would like to have a meet and greet with coaches and parents. We would also like to discuss the upcoming season and it’s scheduling.
  *Friday 730 to 11.
  *Saturday Scrimmage TBD. We have a scheduling problem this day, we will notify everyone as soon as it’s resolved.

Hello Panther players and parents, We are now entering into our official summer practices. Please have players return all forms necessary to play. Without them the Athletic Director may not allow a player to practice. Also, whenever there is inclement weather please plan accordingly. Remember, practice is always on unless you hear differently.
If it is raining then please bring shorts and sneakers if we are to go in the gym, but mostly prepare to get wet! It’s high school football and we play games in the rain so we should prepare for it from time to time. This is only sent as a reminder to avoid multiple calls and the excuse of “I didn’t know we still had practice”.

The Johnston Panthers Gridiron Club Golf Tournament is rescheduled to next Sunday August 19th at 1:30 due to the weather tomorrow. Gives players another week to get sponsors and golfers. Sorry for any inconvenience.
